The Mission Critical Backpack is a large daypack ideal for the adventurous dad. A large reverse open top allows the entire main compartment to be accessed, while additional side access makes it easy to grab items at the bottom of the Backpack. The top and side flaps have multiple pouches for pacifiers, keys, snacks, or whatever baby or dad may need. Inside the top of the main opening is a soft lined pocket ideal for iPad mini or Kindle. A large pocket on the front has places for cellphone, pens, and other items.

I’ve loved the durability and multi function use of the bag, I use it as a diaper bag, gym bag, and an all purpose bag. It has features and pockets to hold everything in place and organized. Highly recommend this bag!
I got this backpack for my husband, we are expecting and he LOVES it!!! fits so many things and very well put together
I had purchased another similar looking diaper bag from Amazon and I wish I had just stuck with Mission Critical. For both bags I had to a double premium to ship to my US mail hub and then send over the border with some crazy customs charges. It wasn't worth it on my first bag, but the Mission Critical backpack is everything I would want in a bag while missing just a few small features. I purchased the bag with the accessories bundle and I'm glad I did as these items matched well with my existing Molle addons including a dump bag for diapers from another brand. I have my large Thermos for water on my right side with a separate accessory, the MC pull out bag for my son's milk thermos and wow cup are also attached to my large water molle holder. On the top area of my bag I have the MC rectangle pouch for my wipes, a single diaper and plastic bag. The MC square pouch I have on the bottom area of the bag and this holds all my creams for my son's exzema. On the left side I have a dump bag for all my dirty diapers and garbage. The early years centers I go to up here in Canada do not allow for diaper disposal on the premises. It folds nicely into a small square allowing me to access the left side enclosure. The straps on the left side are awesome to hold a lunch cooler on my left side since I have hot food for my son with us for lunch. My lunch bag has molle webbing so I have the MC cup holder attached to the lunch bag so that I can place my son's milk in there while sitting at lunch tables. The cup/bottle holder doesn't fit my thermos' really, maybe my coffee tumbler but it's exposed at the top. The bag is really well balanced even though I was skeptical of the straps and the back padding. I can see how it would integrate with the baby holder which I'm going to purchase next for my 1 month old son. The area for the water bladder acts as a perfect diaper dispensary so i can load that up with folded diapers so that I always have a stead stream of diapers I can move to my the rectangle pouch on the outside. I was expecting the bag to come with the change pad, but that's okay, I should have ordered it. The pad I have now is a bit too big to do the side load but I can usually move it around to fit. The side zipper access is really handy in tight bathroom change areas. I have my anker USB C battery in a case in the left side of my bag and I routed a usb to usb c cable through the top loop and into the side webbing on the left side. This way when I need power for my phone, I can simply open up the left enclosure and pull the cord out to charge my phone, or leave my phone in my bag to charge while playing with my eldest son. I wear a smart watch so I can still get notifications. I have an extra pair of kids gloves in that left enclosure pocket. Some features that could be added in the future would be for stroller loops so I could loop the bag to a stroller so that I have access to my battery and water, or have the ability to access the bag in tight changing areas. I haven't been rained on yet, but perhaps more water proof treatment to the zippers and fabric. I have a cover from a previous MMA bag I had. Would love to have molle webbing on the straps so I could attach a cup holder there. There is a small strap but I couldn't access the accessory very well with the bag on, so I have to take one strap off, grab my son's water cup and then hand it over to him after I have secured him in the car, I can hook the water cup to the shoulder strap but it usually falls off when I'm bending or lifting him etc. Perhaps in the future, a side pocket for kid's shoes, a wet wipe dispenser with easy outside access, a larger strap to lift the bag with one hand, a side pocket for drinks lined with lunch bag material and more pocket options in the bottom panel. The bag has been incredible while braving -30 celcius weather up here with my sons.
Perfect gift for the Dad to be!
Bag is really sturdy and has all the pockets you need to use even outside of a diaper bag. If only it had the clips that let it attach to the carrier like the daypack.
