What are the weight and age requirements of the Mission Critical Baby Carrier?

Our carrier can hold children weighing from 8-35 lbs. You can begin to use our carrier once your child can hold their head up on their own and their chin clears the "U" of the chest side of the carrier (about 3 months or 11" sitting height).

Can I carry my baby front facing or rear facing? Is your carrier a front carrier or back carrier?

Our carrier can only be worn on the front, but your child may either face toward you or face out; in the outward-facing position, your child's mouth must be above the front of the carrier to ensure unobstructed breathing.

Are your fabrics & materials safe for my baby?

Yes, all of the materials we use have been tested to be safe for your child. We've worked with leading safety consultants and testing labs to ensure that our products meet or exceed all safety standards.  Our carrier has been tested by an independent lab and meets all applicable ASTM federal regulations for baby carriers.

How do I clean the Mission Critical Baby Carrier?

The CARRIER should be SPOT CLEANED ONLY with warm soapy water & AIR DRIED. In the case of a very messy situation (we all know those happen!), place carrier in a pillowcase (be sure to secure the open end of the pillowcase so the carrier does not fall out in the wash) and wash on the cold gentle cycle, then allow it to AIR DRY ONLY. Do not use detergents with bleach, perfumes, dyes, chlorine, or optical brighteners.

The REMOVABLE LINER of the carrier can be machine washed on COLD in the GENTLE CYCLE and AIR DRIED. Do not use detergents with bleach, perfumes, dyes, chlorine, or optical brighteners.

How do I put on the Mission Critical Baby Carrier?

Is the position of my child in the carrier anatomically correct?

Yes, we have designed the seat of the carrier to be comfortable for a wide range of babies.

How do I attach the accessories to the MOLLE System?

You weave the straps and then lock the clasps. Here is a simple video about how to use MOLLE on all types of gear.

Is the Mission Critical Baby Carrier available in retail stores?

No, at this time our carrier is only available through our website.

What is the warranty on your carrier and bags?

All of our products have a lifetime warranty. See our warranty here.

Where can I download the instruction manual?

Why do I need to register my products?

If you want your products to be covered under our Limited Lifetime Warranty they need to be registered. Also, in the event of a recall, we need to be able to notify you quickly.  Register your products here.

Where are your products designed and made?

Our products are designed in the United States and constructed in Vietnam.

Can the carrier be adjusted?

Yes, the carrier has many adjustment points to fit a wide variety of body types. The shoulders adjust to change the height of the baby on your chest and the waist can extend up to 60+ inches around. All the straps securing the baby are fully adjustable.

How can I use multiple promotion or coupon codes?

We do not allow the use of multiple promotion codes for purchases. All promotion codes for Mission Critical are single use only and cannot be stacked or combined with other offers.


SHIPPING & RETURNS FAQ

What is your return policy?

Items must be returned to the warehouse within 30 days of the date you received them. In order to receive a full refund items must be unused, in original packaging, with tags still attached. Please contact us to process your return. Shipping costs will not be reimbursed. If your order arrived damaged, please see below for information about how to exchange it.

My item arrived damaged, how do I exchange it?

Do you ship to Canada or other international locations?

Unfortunately, at this time we are only able to ship our products to addresses within the United States. Each country has unique regulations, which is why we can only ship within the US. There is a lot of interest in Mission Critical, both in Canada and worldwide, and we are working on expanding our distribution in the future. Click here to be notified when we expand to your country.

Do we ship to military personnel with an APO address?

Yes we do. To ship to an APO address follow these four steps when filling out the shipping address at the checkout:

    1. Enter the recipient's full name and address in the relevant fields.
    2. Enter "APO" in the City field.
    3. Select one of the following from the State drop-down menu (depending on where the recipient is stationed): Armed Forces Americas -- Armed Forces Europe -- Armed Forces Pacific.
    4. Select "United States" from the Country drop-down menu (regardless of the country where the recipient is stationed). 
    5. Please allow up to 6-8 weeks for all APO/FPO deliveries.

Do we ship to US Territories?

Yes we do. In the shipping address, choose the United States as the country and select your territory from the State drop down menu. Please allow up to 6-8 weeks for all US Territory deliveries.

What is the cutoff time for overnight shipping or 2-day shipping?

All in stock items are fulfilled Monday-Friday, and orders with expedited shipping must be placed before 11am PST in order to ship the same day. Orders placed after 11am will ship out the following business day. Please note, expedited shipping does not include weekend delivery.

When will my order be shipped?

All in stock items are fulfilled Monday-Friday, and orders placed before 11am PST will ship the same day. Our fulfillment center is located in California, and standard shipping takes between 2-7 business days to arrive.
